FILCO’S Rhino Self Storage is the newest facility
to empower customers to “help themselves”. The brand new
Indianapolis facility features an INSOMNIAC 900 kiosk at the
building’s
front entrance to assist customers with transactions. Working interactively
with the facility’s PTI TaskMaster Management Software, the
kiosk knows current account balances and inventory, and automatically
captures all customer information including billing information,
driver’s
license number, fingerprint, signature, and digital photo.
The facility is also using PTI’s new webXpress
module, which turns Taskmaster into a web site allowing customers to
rent units, pay bills, and view their customer information online.
“We’re really interested in the idea
of unattended, self-storage operations,” said Phil French, President
of FILCO LIMITED, LLC. “With INSOMNIAC, customers never see
a ‘Closed’ sign or have to come back later. Instead, they
can make payments or rent units at their convenience.”
