Pamela Alton and Franklin Young join OpenTech Advisory Board

Mike Connolly Named Executive Vice President, Corporate Development for OpenTech

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – February 5, 2004 – OpenTech Alliance, Inc. announced today that Pamela Alton, owner of Mini-Management Services, and Franklin Young, Director of Sales and Marketing for Door and Building Components Incorporated (DBCi), have joined the company’s Advisory Board. The company also announced that former Advisory Board member Mike Connolly has accepted the position of Executive Vice President, Corporate Development for OpenTech.

“We’ve gained extremely valuable insight from our initial Advisory Board containing Ray McRae, Diane Gibson and Mike Connolly,” said Robert Chiti, OpenTech’s CEO. “We’re excited Mike has agreed to join us fulltime in charge of corporate development, and that Pam and Franklin have agreed to join Ray and Diane on our Advisory Board.”

Pamela Alton is the owner of Mini-Management Services - a nationwide consulting and management company offering various services to the self-storage industry. The company is also the largest national and only international manager-placement service available today. She is a frequent contributor to Inside Self-Storage, Mini-Storage Messenger and the Texas Mini News. Ms. Alton is a member of the SSA, TMSA and CSSA. She holds a business degree from Western Michigan University and a California real estate license.

Mike Connolly has over 30 years of successful experience in business management, sales, services, support and development in the software industry. During his 16 years with Computer Associates, Mr. Connolly held senior management positions including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the interBiz Applications Division, SVP of the Global Accounts Group, and International SVP for CA’s Worldwide Distributor Organization.

Diane M. Gibson is the owner of Cox's Armored Mini Storage Management, Inc., a management firm that manages commercial properties with a combined property value in excess of $20 million. Ms. Gibson has a 19-year background in property management and accounting and has been actively involved in the management of numerous shopping centers, office buildings, industrial parks and mini-storage facilities. In February 2001, Ms. Gibson was appointed Secretary to the Executive Board of the Arizona Mini Storage Association.

Raymond E. McRae is Vice President, Director of Operations for Storage Solutions, a management firm that manages over 40 self-storage facilities in the Phoenix area. Previously, Mr. McRae worked at U-Haul Moving and Storage. Other prior roles include President of U-Haul Company of Chicago Metroplex and President and Owner of REKOM Systems, Inc. Mr. McRae holds a Certificate of Human Resource Management from University of Phoenix, a Certificate of Retail Management from Indiana University Northwest, an Arizona Real Estate License, and is a member of the SSA and AMSA.

Franklin Young is Director of Sales and Marketing for DBCi - the leading global supplier of door and hallway systems to the self-storage industry. Previously, he was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of PTI Integrated Systems, a global supplier of access control and management software technology to the self-storage industry. Mr. Young holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
